Fans of D-Black call him hypocrite for celebrating Meek Mill and not Otumfuor Osei Tutu II
Fans of Blaq Avenue Muzik Boss, D-Black have rebuked the artiste for celebrating the Dream Chasers Records signee, Meek Mill on his 33rd birthday.
The American rapper who celebrated his birthday on May 6, saw heart felt wishes from various industrial players including Ghana’s rapper D-Black.
However Ghanaians who were unpleased by D-Black’s gesture called him hypocrite for not celebrating legendary Ghanaians who were celebrating their birthdays on that day.
They mentioned that D-Black did not ink his pen or did not put his finger tips on display to wish the Asante hene, Otumfuor Osei Tutu II happy birthday but went ahead to celebrate a foreigner who did not even know him.
D-Black yesterday on his channels sent a wish that read “Happy Birthday to a big inspiration!! Meek Mill way from Ghana.”
He noted that the Philadelphia rapper was his inspiration and had learnt lots from him, thus the wish.
However, some of his fans saw him rushing himself to the birthday guy, adding that his action did not speak well of him.
“He doesn’t know you,” one of the fans fumes!
Others also said the act was despicable and cautioned D-Black from repeating such act, saying “wey yawa to this.”
One also said “Eiii be like chairman D-Black want to do self put put ooo,” stressing that such acts turn fans and Ghanaians from appreciating the local arts since the artistes themselves did not recognise arts and legends of the country but follow foreigners for their art.
Not long ago, Wendy Shay reprimanded Ghanaians for shouting praises to Davido after revealing his single that featured Nicki Minaj and called on them to stop.
Yet some local artistes were rather giving Ghanaians reasons for them not sticking true to them.
Meek Mill whose real name is Robert Rihmeek Williams birthdays have always been greeted with reproofs.
On his 29th birthday, Drake went hard on him together with his fans and flooded his page with unpleasant wishes.
Meek Mill who used to date Young Money Cash Money Board (YMCMB) signee, Nicki Minaj is currently dating Milan Harris, the owner of Philadelphia-based boutique and fashion brand Milano Do Rouge.
The rapper announced the birth of his first son with his girlfriend on his birthday but already have two children from previous relationship.
