Ja Rule commences school construction in Ghana
American rapper and music producer Ja Rule has initiated a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a classroom block at Nuaso Anglican Primary School in the Eastern region of Ghana.
This forms part of his initiative to transform the lives and education of children in developing countries and he is doing this in collaboration with Pencil of Promise, a US non-profit organisation that builds schools and increases educational opportunities in the developing world.

The record producer arrived in the country on Tuesday to attend the groundbreaking ceremony today, April 10 at Nuaso Anglican Primary School.
He announced his imminent arrival in Ghana on Monday to express his enthusiasm for commencing the philanthropic initiative.
“Building towards the future… Ghana see you tomorrow!!! #ICONN @pencilsofpromise,” he wrote.
Ja Rule’s kind gesture follows other celebrities including Michael Blackson, who commissioned the “Free for All” basic school in Agona Nsaba, located in the Central region of Ghana.

The rapper’s dedication to supporting education in Ghana was first revealed in January 2024 when he announced his philanthropic endeavour.
“I’m also building a school in Ghana can’t wait to go and break ground… Rule love the kids!!!” he wrote.
Ja Rule’s commitment reflects a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of Ghanaian children demonstrating his belief in the power of education to transform communities.
