The Manager of the self acclaimed Dancehall king-Shattawale, Lawrence Nana Assiamah Hanson known as Bulldog has disclosed that his artiste climbed the stage of the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) to greet some diplomats.
According to him, Shattawale was called by his father who was sitting in front of the auditorium to meet specific dignitaries present at the event.
He explained on United Showbiz as monitored by spotonnews.net that the auditorium was full and Shatta Wale had no place to pass than to climb the main stage to meet the friends of his father.
Bulldog insisted that the organisers of the programme, Charter House took the lives of the patrons for granted, stressing that they cared about the money they would make from the programme rather than the security and welfare of the patrons.
“They allowed people who are more than what the auditorium could contain to be in the room, if the room could contain thousand people and you sold thousand ticket that should be it. You do not have to sell extra tickets,” he added.
The manager blamed Charter House for packing patrons to the extent that there were no adequate space available for people to walk through.
He advised Charter House to be concerned about the welfare of the those who would patronise this year’s event to alleviate any pending situation.
