Kanye West apologises for not keeping his marital affairs private

Rapper, Kanye West has apologised for claiming he was considering divorcing his wife, Kim Kardashian.

He also apologised for alleging that his wife has been locking him up.

“I would like to apologise to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter,” Kanye West said.

He noted that he did not cover his wife and their private matters the way his wife does for him, thus also pleaded for being inconsiderate.

“To  Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me,” he said.

Kanye West also disclosed a story last Sunday that his wife wanted to abort their first child, North West.

He shared the story during a campaign rally in South Carolina for the United States (US) presidential election, which he has self-proclaimed himself as a candidate.

Following Kanye West’s comments, Kim Kardashian on her Instagram page on Wednesday appealed for “compassion” from the public in regards to her husband’s recent public statements.

She said her husband has been diagnosed of bipolar disorder and thanked the public for expressing their concerns.

“We as a society talk about giving grace to the issue of mental health as a whole, however we should also give it to the individuals who are living with it in times when they need it the most. I kindly ask that the media and public give us the compassion and empathy that is needed so that we can get through this. Thank you for those who have expressed concern for Kanye’s well being and for your understanding,” Kim Kardashian added.

The couple has been married for over six years and have four children together.
