Brothers- Ang Probinsyano Episode 226 Cardo returns to SAF for vengeance over Ricky boy’s death
General Borja received a call from the National Defense Agency boss, Director Renato Hipolito informing him about Cardo’s decision to return to the force. Delfin was surprised, prompting Director Hipolito that Delfin had no idea.
Delfin rushed to Dalisay’s residence in search of him. He met his absence and queried Flora and Alyana if they knew about Cardo’s plans of retuning to the force as he has solicited the help of Director Hipolito to be reinstated. The family had no idea, fortunately Cardo arrived and he assured that his mind was made up to return to the force.
General Borja asked him to have faith in their work to bring justice to those affected by the attack.
“Grandpa have faith?
“You couldn’t even save my son!”
Cardo said he could no longer pretend that nothing was going on and was returning to the force. Elsewhere, Danna Olegario received a visitor, Rachael who praised the heroic deeds of Joel for saving her at the mall. She said Joel was not only her hero he was also an angel. She introduced her son, Jayson to Olegario, adding that she would have d!ed and left her children if it was not Joel who saved her during the e×plo$ion.
As they left, General Olegario brood over her lost. Alyana tried talking Cardo against his decision but Cardo said he was done listening to them. He stayed out of force to protect his family but he lost his son so now he would do what he wanted, he would return to the force and asked Alyana to forgive him as his mind was made up.
At the NDA office, Director Hipolito and Catindig were glad that Romulo would fall into their trap by rising against Capili. At Mt Arayat, Pampanga, Romulo told the group that Tiger and him already knew the house of Capili and they would take him by surprise. He did not have intentions to eliminate him since he wanted him to lead him to the rest of his group.
However, with the information of Homer, Capili prepared the ex military men for the operation. He asked them to spare the life of Scorpion but should take Romulo and the rest down. Alyana visited Ricky boy’s grave with a wreath, crying that she knew Ricky boy deserved justice but was not ready to lose Cardo too in his decision to return to the force to seek justice for him. She wanted Ricky boy’s justice to be done by fate.
Grandma Flora had not been sleeping ever since she realised what Cardo intended doing. She gave him her blessings and made him promise to take care of himself. Cardo assured that he would take care of himself once he returned to the force and come back home safely.
“I will be waiting for your return,” Flora added as she hugged her grandson.
In Bilibid, Don Emilio told Mangubat his intentions of making him detonate b0mb at the penitentiary for them to escape more reason he was helping him. He then gave Mangubat some drugs. Elsewhere, Romulo and Anton were able to ambush Capili and forced him to usher them to the rest of his group members. Thinking they would take them by surprise, unknown to him his plans was already leaked.
As Catindig informed Hipolito about Capili being in the hands of Romulo, and were being led to the trap set for them. Hipolito believed k!lling some of the group members would help Cardo in making his job easier.
“With all due respect Sir I don’t think we even need Dalisay,” Catindig hissed as he drove.
Meanwhile, at the NMIG office, General Olegario ordered James to find information about Ernesto Capili. Elsewhere, Romulo awoke to a trap and his members were brutally murdered by the black force at the hideout which Capili sent them. The group retreated and rushed to Pampanga where they held a vigil for the fallen comrades.
“I can’t figure out how Capili’s men figured out our plan,” Romulo wondered.
“Commander could there be a traitor among us?” Anton queried as they wondered how they were cunningly led into a trap.
At the NDA office, Director Hipolito celebrated with his right hand man Catindig for a successful job. He believed Romulo would create more trouble but by that time, Cardo would be in the force and Dalisay would deal with him. They shared a drink while Alyana after being in a church rushed home to give Cardo her support to give justice not only to their son but all those affected by the recent attacks of the Pulang Araw group.
Cardo visited the Chief of PNP to enlist his help to be reinstated into the Special Action Force of the Police.
“Welcome back SPO2 Ricardo Dalisay,” The chief approved his come back.
Delfin was summoned into the office of the Chief who told him that Cardo personally informed him about his return into the force and assured he was processing the papers of Cardo to get him reinstated.
“Dalisay is going through tough transition and he is making lots of irrational decision,” Delfin uttered.
On the contrary, the chief said Cardo made the right decision since they needed selfless officers like Cardo. At Mt Arayat, Pampanga Delia and Rowena left the camp after the death of their respective husbands.
Delfin had a talk with Cardo to make him understand that he was returning to the force to render service to the country not to revenge the death of his son. Cardo pondered on what Delfin told him and believed his grandpa was right as his anguish was taking the best of him and has led him to detach himself from his family especially Alyana.
“I will join the force not to exact vengeance but for the purpose of serving my country.”
At the NMIG office, General Olegario gave the profile of Capili to Catindig believing he was the leader of the aggrieved ex military personnel who attacked Director Hipolito and blocked the chances of the Bloody Sun in their rescue mission for Mangubat.
Catindig assured that he would handle it only for him to inform Director Hipolito that Dianna Olegario has found out that Capili was behind the attacks. Director Hipolito told him to warn Capili for him not to be walking around. Catindig bumped into Capili at the car park and he informed him about the intel of Olegario. Fortunately or unfortunately, General Olegario appeared there but Capili hid behind Catindig’s car.
General Olegario told him to inform her right away about his investigation. Cardo laced his combat, packed his things and was already in his SAF uniform.
“After I move out from the house I will enter once again a new chapter of my life as a SAF officer.
I know this means encountering all sorts of personalities again. My quest of obtaining justice for my son and those whose lives were lost.”
At Mt Arayat, Pampanga Romulo bemoaned that his group members had lost trust in him as his fight for justice did not yield fruit. He charged Homer to be his eyes and ears to find the traitor among them. Alyana got in and bid an emotional goodbye to Cardo as Cardo assured that he would return right away after his mission without a scratch. The family said goodbye to Cardo and Delfin told him not to hesitate to get in touch if he needed something.
Cardo left home to embark on his new journey. Geraldo De La Paz and Bernardo Quinto in delight appeared at the camp followed by Katrina Valasco. Seeing Katrina, De la Paz waved the lady but she turned her eyes as she sighted Cardo approaching.
In Bilibid, Director Ladronio assured the executive that they had not apprehended the Bloody Sun Group members but would ensure Mangubat is well kept to ensure the r3bels don’t break him out.
