I don’t believe in Cecilia Marfo’s prophesy— Joyce Blessing breaks silence on mic snatching incident
After remaining silence on how musician cum prophetess, Cecilia Marfo snatched her microphone to prophesy about her marriage, sensational gospel musician, Joyce Blessing has stated that the former’s prophesy is not revealed by God.
According to her, God does not reveal to disgrace, stressing that Cecilia Marfo’s action shows clearly that she is not ordained by God as a vessel.
Speaking in an interview with Hitz FM, Joyce Blessing indicated that she did not believe in Cecilia Marfo’s prophesy, thus she prophesied just to trend.
“When people are in difficult times, you call the person in private… you don’t do it to trend.”
“Sometimes when God tells you something you have to apply wisdom… a pastor would have told me privately. We hear prophecies many times… You don’t do it when the people are going through trauma.
“I didn’t believe the prophecy. God walks with us all the time and He walks with me too. It’s not because of who she is… It’s about where she said it and how she said it… people talk about my marriage but I never said anything about it. God can talk to me too,” she added.
Joyce Blessing also disclosed that Cecilia Marfo has apologised after prophesying about her marriage during a show held at Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
The musician cum evangelist at an annual thanks giving service organised by the Unity Group of Companies snatched a microphone from Joyce Blessing during song ministration on stage.
Cecilia Marfo after snatching the microphone prophesied that God was using Joyce Blessing for his work but what was left was for her to go back to her marriage.
“She told me that she was sorry and she didn’t know it would go that way. She called me the following day together with her husband,” she said.
Joyce Blessing indicated that she did not believe in Cecilia Marfo’s prophesy and just prophesied to trend.
“When people are in difficult times, you call the person in private… you don’t do it to trend.
After the incident, many Ghanaians criticised her for her action, condemning the prophesy and the manner she used in prophesying it.
