‘I will walk barefooted if Ghana loses the match against Nigeria’— John Dumelo

Actor cum politician, John Dumelo, has promised to carry his farm produce and walk barefooted from Ghana to Nigeria should Ghana lose against Nigeria in the upcoming March.

He made this known on twitter when he expressed optimism in the Ghana Black stars ahead of the match scheduled today at 7:30pm at the Baba Yara Sport Stadium in Kumasi.

The Ayawaso West Member of Parliament (MP) aspirant said Ghana would beat Nigeria in today’s match to secure a spot in the upcoming football World Cup which is slated for November 21 to December 18 in Qatar.

Expressing his optimism through a tweet, he said the Nigerian national team had no chance to win against the Ghana Black stars in the match and should the unexpected happened he would walk barefoot from the country to Lagos, Nigeria which has a distance of 463 kilometers.

John Dumelo also stated that he would embark on the journey with some of his farm produce on his head and urged Ghanaians to rally round the National team.

“Super Eagles, my foot!” John Dumelo added.

John Dumelo’s encouragement words comes after many Ghanaians lost belief in the senior national team after they fell off from the qualifying stage in the African tournament hosted in Cameroon.

The Ghana and Nigeria match is expected to take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Friday, March 25, 2022, at 19:30 GMT.

After the first leg encounter they would travel to Abuja in Nigeria for the second leg, which would be held at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, four days later.
