Speaking in an interview with the media, the multiple award winning actress revealed that her marriage meant the world to her and was doing everything to protect her marriage and family.

“I need to protect my marriage with everything I have. I don’t see the reason why anyone should include my husband or my daughter when they have problems with me,” she said.

Nana Ama McBrown indicated that she always got offended when people bad mouth individuals who she loved most in her life.

“I get offended when negative things are said about the people I love most,” she added.

Touching on why she did not respond to bad comments or negative stories, the talented actress said she had made it a point to stay out of trouble, hence her action.

She further stated that she was doing her best not to step on anyone’s toe in the industry while trying to mind her own business.

“Sometimes, it is difficult to hear certain things being said about you and pretend like you have not heard them. It hurts to hear someone say false things about you as if they know you and still ignore it. It takes someone who has a lot of patience to do that and I have suffered a lot.

“I hear very bad comments about me but for peace to prevail, I just ignore and respond to them at the right time,” she added.

Nana Ama McBrown cited self acclaimed counselor, George Lutterodt who said her marriage would not last as one of the negative comments which got to her.

She wondered how a married man and a person who pose off as a counselor could stoop so low to pass such comment about someone’s marriage.
