It will take you a dacade to get a hit song like one corner— Patapaa jabs Amerado
Patapaa Amisty has expressed his displeasure about how rapper Amerado Burner wasted his TimWestwood opportunity to diss various industrial giant including him in his rap.
According to him, it will take a decade for Amerado to get a hit song like “one corner” to chalk his name in the industry.
Patapa in a post on his Twitter handle felt disrespected after Amerado said Obibini’s music has lost relevance like his music.
He warned Amerado to stay within his lane and not cut corners of he wanted to be relevant and climb the ladder of success in the industry
“Amerado_Burner stay in your lane and focus on climbing your own ladder cos it will take you more than a decade to get a hit song like my #OneCorner,” the Swedru musician added.
He further stated that the line in the rap was a weak punch and urged the public not to see it as a diss.
“That was a weak punch and not a diss… You suffer saa get some small hype aaa you dey come misbehave. Ghana we dey !” Patapaa added.
This is not the first time Patapaa has expressed his displeasure about people looking down on his craft.
Not long ago he was livid when Shatta Wale told Ponobiom that if he wanted someone to beef with, he should go for underground artistes like Patapaa.
Patapaa was one of the few musicians in Ghana who made it through unconventional means.
Even though he kept getting scathing criticism about his brand, he has stayed relevant for the past three years.
Recently, he conferred on himself, the King of “Drill music” in Ghana, and hinted that he would be featuring a top American rapper on his next song.
