Afrobeat singer Kelvynboy is alleged to have been manhandled by some notorious individuals after a show at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) in the central region on Saturday night.

A video that surfaced online captured the “Down Flat” crooner being shoved around by some men reported to be in security uniforms.

Information has it that the incident happened when the singer tried to wrap up his performance earlier than scheduled to head to capital for another show at the University for Professional Studies Accra (UPSA).

Some students of UCC were believed to be unhappy with the development, thus they did not want him to perform early and leave, hence the scandal.

It is reported that Kelvynboy was supposed to have gone on stage between 11 pm and 12 am but, begged to do it earlier so that, he could return to Accra for the UPSA show.

Despite the altercation, he was allowed to perform later and treated the students to his songs, including the current jam, “Down Flat.”
