Sunshine Cruz warns daughters against suitors
Celebrated actress Sunshine Cruz has disclosed that her three daughters who are basically teenagers are already being pursued by men.
According to her, she has warned her daughters, Angelina, Sam and Cheska against any illicit affair that could ruin their future lives.
Despite her children receiving educational honours which have gone a long way to make her a proud mother, Sunshine said there were boys chasing after her children most especially the two teenagers.
Hence, has warned them to be careful as one mistake could ruin their lives.
Revealing this in an interview with the media during her launch as the ambassador of Thiocell Glutathione, Sunshine stated that her children had a long way to go in their academic pursuit and did not want anything to be an obstruction.
“Studies first: Because Angelina is in her last year of college. Dean’s Lister, first honor. As well as Sam, Dean’s Lister, second honor. Then Cheska just finished her senior high and her first choice school was Ateneo, she got it. So I now have an Atenista and two La Sallistas,” she said.
Sunshine indicated that her children had no reason to have suitors since she and their father could still provide for them, they needed to pursue the academics to become responsible individuals.
“So I said, as long as mommy can, I can still provide. Your father is also there now. We are co-parenting, focus on your studies,” she added.
Addressing how she got to know that her children were courting, Sunshine stated that she had an open communication with her children so they were unable to keep things from her.
“Someone is already courting them. As for me, our communications are very open. I said, we can’t do anything but hide or run away so the mother knows better. I set the rules right and I tell them, don’t be stüpid, be careful because you’re good at school and it will be a pity that one mistake will change your life,” she added.
