Susan Roces to be finally laid to rest on Wednesday, May 25 at a Family Mausoleum
Senator Grace Poe, the daughter of the late Queen of Philippine Movies on Sunday disclosed that Ms Susan Roces will be finally laid to rest on Wednesday, May 25 at their family mausoleum in North cemetery along with her father, Fernando Poe Jr., known as “Da King” of Philippine Movies.
She announced this when she opened the public viewing for Ms Susan Roces who passed away on Friday at 80 years fom cardiopulmonary arrest at the Heritage Park, Taguig City.
According to Sen Poe, they initially allowed friends, associates and families of the late Susan Roces to view her remain privately after her death last Saturday.
She indicated that starting May 22, Sunday , there would be a public viewing on Ms Roces before she would be laid to rest on Wednesday.
Narrating how her mother died, Sen Poe said Ms Roces was accompanied by her friends and members of her family while she was suffering from her pain until she succumbed to heart attack.
Meanwhile, she reminded viewers or the general public to follow minimum health protocol while viewing her mother at the Heritage Park, such as wearing appropriate face mask and practice social distancing.
Ms Poe added that they were yet to decide on the time to lay Susan Roces for her final resting place in North Cemetery on Wednesday.
