The Better Half Episode 38 Rafael hits Camille for sharing ki$$es and intimacy with Marco
After seeing that he has lost Camille, Marco told Camille that he would sign the annulment papers.
He explained that he has realised that she really l©ved Rafael and wanted her to be happy even if it was not by his side.
Camille cried as she thanked him for finally agreeing to the annulment and she hugged him.
Bianca had driven to the cemetery and she got mad when she saw the two of them. Marco cupped Camille’s face and said that he would always l©ve her, he then comforted his heart by ki$$ing her.
Bianca captured it on her phone and she was so sad and mad at the same time. She shed tears and wanted to get off the car and attack Camille.
Bianca followed Camille
She hallucinated about Sheryl again and Sheryl mocked her for wanting to attack Camille in front of Marco in broad daylight. She drove off in a rage and went home.
Marco told Camille that he was going to agree with everything that Camille claimed so that it would be easier for her to get the annulment.
He added that he wanted them to keep their deal so that Camille would not have to take care of him once the nurse arrived.
He however pleaded with her not to completely stay away from him and asked her to meet him once in a while for them to talk.
Marco’s request to Camille
Camille received a call from the agency and they told her that the nurse taking care of Marco was on the way so she took Marco back to his house.
When Bianca arrived home, Clarita was giving Julia medicine to treat her fever. She was still traumatised after seeing Marco with Camille. Bianca hugged Julia tightly and repeatedly said sorry to her.
Julia got scared and told Bianca to leave her alone. Clarita and Alfredo got Bianca away from Julia and took her away.
They then went to speak to Bianca and Clarita asked her to seek help because she could no longer control her emotions and was starting to scare Julia.
Bianca talked to Julia and apologised for scaring her and Julia said it was fine since teacher Camille was the bad person.
When Aris and Camille took Marco back to his house, Marco asked Aris if he could stay for a while to take care of him since the nurse coming over was a woman and might not be able to carry her.
Aris said he could not stay because he had to help his family with something important. Marco said that if Julio was still around and he got hurt under different circumstances, he would have stayed with him.
Camille agreed with him and Aris said he was sorry. Camille asked him why he said that and Aris said that it was because he did not know Bianca was not Marco’s real wife before and he could have helped Marco look for her if he had known.
Rafael had a meeting about Punte Verde with the mayor and Bianca but Bianca did not show up.
She texted Dingo who was at the meeting and told him that she would not go because she was not feeling well.
Rafael got mad and called her to ask why she was not at the meeting. He even threatened to fire her from the project and Bianca told him that he should be the one to understand what she was feeling.
She said that she had sent him an email and he should check it. Rafael hung up and checked his email where he saw the video of Marco kissing Camille.
Rafael breaks down
He got carried away and smashed his phone on the floor, then left in anguish.
Marco called Bianca and asked her to bring Julia over to his house because he wanted to see her and fix things with her.
Camille was happy about Marco giving her the annulment so she went home and prepared a special dinner for Rafael.
Rafael didn’t come home early enough to have dinner so Camille asked Helen and Luicito to go ahead as she went to call him.
Helen noticed that Luicito looked at Camille in a peculiar way and asked he whether he was upset with her. Luicito refused to tell her anything and continued to eat.
Camille was unable to reach Rafael since he did not answer her calls and his secretary didn’t know where he was.
Rafael went to a club and asked for a bottle of Vodka. His friend from the foundation tried to stop him but Rafael did not listen. He drunk the vodka and arrived home later drunk.
Camille tried to take care of him and asked him why he had drunk. Rafael let out his frustrations and told Camille that he had gone back to drinking because of her.
He started to shout as he accused Camille of not l©ving him and lying that she l©ved him while she wanted to get back together with Marco.
Camille told him that it was not true but Rafael said that she decided to stay with him only because she did not want to be poor and Camille slapped him.
Rafael slapped her back and realised what he had done only too late.
The noise had woken up Luicito and Helen and they were surprised when they saw Rafael hit Camille.
Rafael hits Camille
Luicito reprimanded him for hitting his wife and Rafael went to apologise to Camille but she ran away from him.
Helen wanted to know what was going on but no one told her. Rafael said he had messed things up and needed to rectify it.
He found Camille at the balcony and tried to hug her but she asked him to stay away. Rafael went on to explain that Bianca sent her a video of her and Marco hugging and ki$$ing and that was why he got upset since he was jealous.
Camille told her that she only hugged Marco since he agreed to the annulment and Rafael said that even then, Marco had no right to put his arms around her.
Camille told Rafael how happy she was since she wanted to give him the good news that Marco had agreed to annul their marriage and did not expect him to come home accusing her of cheating on him.
She also clarified that she l©ved him because of the person that she was and not because of his money.
She walked away and Rafael regretted his actions against her.
