This comes in response to a call made by a Nigerian promoter and broadcaster, Adesope Olajide, who was urging musicians in Ghana to choose Nigeria as a second place to promote their songs.

Opposing the call, Bullgod said his point was needless, explaining that the internet presented a lot of creatives with a better platform to showcase and market their works globally.

“This is 2023, let nobody come and tell us that we need to go to Nigeria to promote music. We won’t go to Lagos. Why should we even do that? There’s no time for that because everything is digital now.”

“If we didn’t know the relevance of internet, at least, we experienced its relevance during the peak of coronavirus. Nobody has time to go to Lagos. When you release a song in Accra, the next place should be the TikTok office. If you have the money for promotion, go to the TikTok office and pay them,” he charged.
