Stop giving away your heart like it’s candy— Yen Santos reiterated

Sensational actress Yen Santos has reiterated  calls on the public not to easily give away one’s heart like candy after her relationship with actor Paolo Contis allegedly hit the rocks.

This is in agreement to her fellow actress Heart Evangelista, who advised to not easily give away one’s heart like a candy.

Yen shared via her Instagram Stories on Thursday, May 23, an excerpt from Evangelista’s May 2023 interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.” The clip Santos shared was uploaded by Instagram user @mmorbss.

“If I were to speak to who I was before, [I would say], ‘Stop giving away your heart like it’s candy. Treasure yourself. Love yourself. Treasure your heart and your soul, because that’s what’s gonna save you in the end,’” Evangelista said in the video.

Yen did not include any captions on her shared post, only tagging one @riverayanna.

Yen and Paolo Contis were romantically linked to each other for over a year before they confirmed their relationship in January 2023.

Months after the confirmation, the actor declared that he planned to marry Yen sometime in the future.

However, the couple has been a subject of breakup rumours since earlier this month, after Yen unfollowed the actor and removed their photos together on her Instagram page.

Contis was asked about the status of their relationship in a recent media event, but the actor said he had “no comment” about it.

He further stated that he wanted to keep some parts of his personal life to himself as the public already knew a lot about it.

Yen is yet to publicly address the matter as of this writing.
