Comic personality, Baba spirit dies in Kotoku Hospital
Comic presenter, Baba Spirit, has allegedly kicked the bucket after he was rushed to Kotoku medical Hospital, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti region on Thursday.
Doctor allegedly pronounced the comedian dead after admission at the hospital but the detail of his ailment is not immediately known.
The former Adom TV presenter who hosted a programme dubbed: “Broken News” is believed to be in his late 30s or early 40s and left the station four years ago.
In a recent interview on Bryt TV, the comedian revealed that he battled a strange illness which made him paralysed for a year and was not ready to get on the screen to preserve his life from his nemesis.
However, on July, 9, 2022, Baba Spirit made an official, announcement to return to the screen with a new television show.
Baba Spirit is best remembered for his much-publicised 2018 exhibition boxing bout against veteran professional boxer Ayittey Powers which was held at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra and screened live on television.
The fight between the two came about after Ayitey Powers made a comment that Baba Spirit was sent by the devil to disturb him and also said some unpleasant words. The two have since then been involved in series of altercations on various media platforms.
He is also known for his controversial spiritual shows which made his name prominent in the industry.
