Kanye West mad at his label for releasing his ‘Donda’ album
American rapper, Kenye West has stated that his album dubbed: “Donda” was released without his authorisation.
According to him, his label, Universal Music Group released his much-delayed 10th studio album without his approval.
Kanye West made the allegation on his instagram page shortly after the album was finally released on streaming services on Sunday.
He also claimed that Universal had “blocked” a song featuring DaBaby and Marilyn Manson from being on the record.
“Universal put my album out without my approval and they blocked Jail 2 from being on the album,” he wrote.
Universal has not issued a comment.
Jail Part two, the second run of the original track which includes Jay-Z, boasts features from DaBaby and additional help from Marilyn Manson, who was facing multiple s3xual and emotional abuse allegations including four lawsuits.
Manson and DaBaby both appeared alongside Ye at his flame-filled Chicago listening event the past week.
Ye’s revelation came to fans as surprise and wondered if the artiste currently wanted the album on streaming sites.
The second iteration of “Jail” was not available to stream around 8 a.m. when the record first hit, but it has since been made available with the rest of the project.
