Everything is perfect, there is nothing to be fixed— Matilda Asare to #Fixthecountry campaigners

Renowned Kumawood actress and producer, Matilda Asare has silenced the critics who are calling on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to as a matter of urgency #FixTheCountry to enhance the welfare of the citizenry.

According to her, there is nothing to be fixed, noting that structures and the system are in order to protect and secure the citizenry.

Speaking in an interview on United Showbiz in Accra on Saturday as monitored by Spot On News, the beautiful actress stated that government has put in place good structures to an extent that no workers were affected by the outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

“In fact I see nothing wrong in the country, everything is perfectly fine. There is no war, no strike action, Doctors and all other government workers are working perfectly. Everything is fixed,” she added.

Matilda Asare however urged the #FixTheCountry campaigners to be specific on their call for the government to know their exact needs for him to fix it.

“There is nothing to be fixed because when you ask them they can’t actually pinpoint what the government should fix. They should tell the government this and that so fix it they can’t claim the government should fix the entire country while there is nothing about the country to be fixed.

Even if it is dumsor, they have enrolled schedule for the affected people in solving the problem. No one can say there’s dumsor for four years,” she added.
