Ghana Leadership Awards 2023 to honour Exemplary leaders

The 15th edition of Ghana Leadership Awards (GLA), an annual awards scheme that aims at honouring leaders in Ghana is slated for Saturday December 23, 2023 at the La Palm Royal Hotel, Accra.

It will be held under the theme: “Is the Leadership Role of Ghana’s Leaders the Ordinary Citizen, Journalists, Politicians and Clergy etc Truly Promoting Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law.”

The award which has honoured over 100 extraordinary leaders in the country from all spheres of life also aims at celebrating outstanding and exemplary leadership that significantly contributed positively in advancing Ghana and Africa at large.

Speaking in an interview with SpotOnNews.Net, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the awards, Professor Emmanuel Nash said the award was to honour individuals who have made a difference in their endeavours to inspire others to emulate their steps.

“The event will seek to honour leaders for their exemplary contributions towards Ghana’s growth in economic, social, political and leadership development,” he added.

Prof Nash indicated that the event was solely sponsored by his outfit and the La Palm Royal Hotel, he also called on benevolent organisations, entities and individuals to sponsor this extraordinary awards by sending an email to [email protected] or should contact his outfit on 0244406913 or 0202616160.

“This event will richly contribute to the leaders who took extra efforts in nation building while nurturing the Ghanaian economy to grow,” he added.

GLA was first organised in 2009 and has since honoured political, religious, economic, traditional leaders, musicians, journalists and business men and women.

Some of their past winners included President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, Former President John Dramani Mahama, Jerry John Rawlings, John Agyekum Kuffour, Ghana’s Accountant General Mr KK Bosompim, Kofi Annan, Musician Nacee and Peggy Ama Donkor among others.
