Betrayal (Halik) Episode 18 Jacky’s suspicion about Ace grows wilder
Lino spoke with Dolor and was told that Jade was not in the house. Lino said he would go to the office to find out since she was not picking his calls.
However, Jacky tried Ace’s number and could not reach him. Jade told Ace that her husband might be looking for her so she had to go but Ace stated that it was quite early so they should continue with their intimate encounter.
He k!$$ed her and made l^v* with her. Later he dropped her off at the office. Lino arrived and asked Jade who the person she was standing with was and she said the person was a client.
She went into the office to get her things while Lino waited for her outside. In soliloquy, Jade said she narrowly escaped.
While Lino was driving her to the house, Jade seemed exhausted and Lino asked her why she was tired and she said she overworked herself and had to attend to clients the whole day.
Lino told her that he had already told her he had closed a deal at Cebu and pretty soon he would have a ground breaking for the construction of their house. Jade seemed excitede while Lino explained that was the reason he had also been busy with work.
Ace arrived home and Jacky gave him a massage while talking to him about them having a vacation he fell asleep. Realising Ace was asleep, Jacky took Ace’s attire and sniffed.
The next day, Jade received a flower while attending to a client at work. Ace called and requested that they should have dinner. Jade indicated that she would not be able to do so but Ace asked her whether it was because she could not resist him.
As the conversation was on going, Jacky who was already suspicious of her husband stood silently to listen to the conversation.
Ace after noticing Jacky changed his tone to make it as if he was talking to a client. Jade was perplexed to hear where Ace was sending the conversation to.
Jacky demanded to see Ace’s phone to know the potential client he claimed he was talking to.
As the conversation was ongoing a secretary came in to inform them that Mauro wanted to speak with both at his office.
Ace was relieved, he told Jacky they should go right away. At Mauro’s office, he was upset that they lost a client at Cebu to Dos Disanyo and asked the couple how were they working but Jacky spewed that they lost the client because they have lost trust in Montecorp.
Ace asked Jacky to shut up. Mauro scolded Jacky and asked Ace to get the client back.
At Dos Disanyo, Lino told his workers about the deal in Cebu and told them to work fast so that they could Kickstart the Cebu deal the following week.
Barry interrupted and introduced his cousin, Pinky. Jacky told Ace to allow Lino to have the Cebu client but Ace said he would not.
Later, he went to talk to Chari to ask if Jacky was with somebody while in Cebu and she said it was her and Ken.
Lino was told that one of the workers had left and he said he would look for temporal replacement.
Jacky and Jade came across eachother in a restaurant. Ace called Jade to meet up with her after he and Jacky had a misunderstanding when Jacky after Chari told her about Ace’s suspicion. She confronted Ace to ask her instead if he had any doubts about her and stated that she met Lino in Cebu by an accident.
Jade and Jacky bumped into each other when Jade was leaving the place. Jade was harsh and cruel to Jacky, saying she came in between her way but Jacky said she (Jade) did not look at where she was going that was why she bumped into her (Jacky).
She pushed Jacky and left. Later, Jacky learnt that Mauro had filed a petition against Lino so she confronted Mauro on why he hated the Bartolomes as he was the one who sinned against them.
She asked whether it was because Gustin introduced Robert to Loida. Mauro was upset and almost slapped Jacky.
Lino brought Bob, the thief to Dos Disanyo to offer him a job. Fast forward, Lino called Jade and she told Lino lies that she would meet a client later to show him a property at the south and Marisa realised she wanted to meet Ace, hence the lies.
Later, Pinky saw the picture of Jade and Lino and recalled seeing her with Ace.
Lino came to meet Pinky holding the picture and she complemented Jade. Jacky followed Ace to confirm her suspicion.
She accused Ace when she saw him with a jeweller. Jacky indicated that Ace was cheating but he made her believe that he was making jewelry arrangements for her.
It was 8:02 pm and Ace was still not at the restaurant, where he agreed to meet Jade. Jade had been cutting Lino’s call just to be with Ace.
Lino resort to texting but she refused to reply, she eventually picked Lino’s call after the line of Ace was engaged. Ace refused to receive Jade’s call and told Jacky that he was driving and had to concentrate. He made the excuse when Jacky pressured him to receive the call.
Jacky received Ace’s call even when he scolded and warned her not to touch his phone.
It was Joel and she gave it to Ace. Ace faked that Joel was suffering from a broken heart and promised to drop Jacky up and meet him for them to talk.
Jacky was anxious to know what had happened to Joel, and he told her that he had to be with Joel since he was the one who was by his side when Jacky was in Cebu.
Jade felt stood up and decided to settle her bill. As she was descending down the stairs she met with Ace and told him that she was leaving.
